My kids love anything with buffalo sauce. I love anything that is simple and heightens the flavor of something we love to eat. Plus, bonus points if it is dippable! Sweet and spicy buffalo sauce ticks all those boxes for me!
This tasty sauce is not only mildly spicy and tangy, but it is sweet and buttery. It is the perfect sauce for a buffalo chicken sandwich or to dip your chicken tenders into. This sweet and spicy buffalo sauce is the perfect addition to chicken and waffles, too!
We love making buffalo sauce homemade because you have more control over the heat (by using your favorite hot sauce), your ingredients, and the flavors of the buffalo sauce. We like ours buttery and slightly sweet, making it a mixture of well balanced flavors. This one is one of our family favorites!

Hot Sauce – We love Frank’s Red Hot Original hot sauce for this recipe. It isn’t unbearably hot and my kiddos really love it on everything.
Butter – We use either salted or unsalted.
