My family loves dill pickle flavors in their food. One of their top favorites is The Best Creamy Dill Pickle Pasta Salad.

There is just something about pickle flavored foods that makes us gravitate towards them! This is definitely one of those recipes! This recipe is perfect for game nights or cookouts – any kind of get-togethers, really!

It is creamy and dill pickle-y, and perfect on any potato chip, cracker, or pretzel.

Why you’ll love Dill Pickle Chicken Bacon Ranch Dip

Yummy – I enjoyed this as leftovers for a few days when I was testing it. It is so good! It makes the perfect snack or lunch!

Simple – The recipe is so easy and it comes together so simply. There is not a lot of prep work or precooking (aside from chopping the pickles and crisping up the bacon).

Crowd Pleaser – This dip makes the perfect appetizer, potluck, get together – really anything where you want to bring a dip to feed a bunch of people!

Everyday Ingredients – Nothing fancy here! You can even grab all of your ingredients from Aldi!

Supplies needed to make Dill Pickle Chicken Bacon Ranch Dip

  • I use this electric cooker with so many of my one-pot-dinners. I absolutely love it!
  • Cutting board and knife for chopping your pickles and cubing your cheese
  • Measuring cups and measuring spoons
  • A wooden spoon for cooking your bacon and mixing all of your ingredients in the skillet

Ingredients

Bacon – This recipe includes crispy bacon. Who doesn’t love a recipe with some delicious crispy bacon? The bacon adds that yummy saltiness to the dip and, of course, the bacon flavor!

Canned Chicken – You can use rotisserie chicken in place of the canned chicken if you are looking for easy. You could even make the chicken yourself!

Pickles and Pickle Juice – I love using the Aldi brand refrigerated pickles (the Atomic ones are my go to!) in my recipes. It has the best flavor and kick!

Cream Cheese – Just a normal, full fat, block of cream cheese is used in this recipe.

Sour Cream – The sour cream gives this dip that creamy dip-like consistency.

Ranch Packet – I used the restaurant style ranch packet in this recipe but you can use what you have on hand.

How to make Dill Pickle Chicken Bacon Ranch Dip

First, crisp up your bacon in your pan. I love using my electric skillet for these kinds of recipes! Once my bacon was finished cooking, i placed my bacon on a paper plate lined with paper towels, and drained off the grease from the pan.

Then, I added all of my ingredients to the skillet – the drained can of chicken, bacon, cream cheese, cubed monterey cheese, chopped pickles, pickle juice, and ranch packet.

Next, I allowed the skillet to come to a slight simmer, on low and covered, for about 10-15 minutes (or until everything is melted).

Finally, I gently stirred all of the ingredients together until they were mixed well.

Lastly, but most importantly, we grabbed our chips and began enjoying this super delicious dip!

Tips

  • You can use any pickle brand. I particularly love Aldi’s refrigerated pickle, especially their Atomic pickles! But, any pickles will do!
  • You can use any kind of chicken you want! Rotisserie chicken and canned chicken keeps this recipe super easy (with less dishes – y’all know how much I hate dishes). But, if you’d prefer, you can always cook up your own chicken breast for this recipe!
  • This recipe is definitely one of those recipes you’ll want to enjoy while it is warm (or hot!). If you have leftovers that you want to refrigerate, just keep in mind it hardens as it gets cold!

Yes you can! I love monterey for this recipe but you can use monterey jack cheese, colby jack, or even a mild cheddar!

I LOVE Aldi’s refrigerated pickles! Their Atomic pickles are some of my favorite pickles to eat but you really can use any pickle in this recipe. They all work!
