Texas Toast Sloppy Joes
Crispy, buttery Texas toast is piled high with saucy, seasoned sloppy joe beef and topped with all of your favorite fixins'. An easy weeknight dinner that comes together in about 20 minutes.

- 1 box Texas Toast 8 sliced
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 15 oz Manwich Sloppy Joe Sauce can
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Favorite Toppings
- Cheese
- Mustard
- Ketchup
- Pickles
Bake your Texas toasting according to the package instructions.
Meanwhile, while the bread is cooking, cook your ground beef along with the onion powder, salt, and pepper in a skillet over medium-high heat until the meat is fully browned.
Add the entire can of Manwich to the skillet and let simmer for a few minutes.
Top your Texas toast with the sloppy joe mixture.
Add cheese, pickles, ketchup, mustard, or whatever your favorite topping is, and serve immediately.
Suggested Sides:
We served ours with a side salad, but it would also be good with: - Fries- Chips- Mac and Cheese
- Drain excess grease from the beef before adding your sloppy joe sauce.
- Broil cheese topped toast for a minute if you want melty cheese!
