Slow Cooker Mississippi Pork Roast

Tender, tangy, buttery pork roast made with just 5 simple ingredients in your slow cooker. Perfect for busy days when you want to make a hands off dinner that tastes like you spent hours on it.

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 pound Pork Loin Roast
  • 1 packet Ranch Seasoning Mix
  • 1 packet Au Jus Gravy Mix
  • 16 ounce Jar of Banana Peppers with brine
  • 1 stick Butter, unsalted

Instructions
 

  • First, place the pork loin roast in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  • Next, pour the banana pepper jar and all of the liquid over the pork loin.
  • Then, sprinkle both the ranch packet seasoning and the au jus gravy mix over the pork loin
  • After that, place the stick of butter into pats on top of the roast.
  • Finally, cover and cook on high for 4 hours, until the pork shreds easily.
    Shred in the slow cooker before serving to allow to set in the liquid for a few minutes to soak up all that tasty flavor.

Notes

  • Use the full jar of banana pepper and its liquid for the best flavor.
  • Swap pork loan for pork shoulder or pork butt - or even chicken breast. 
  • Leftovers taste even better the next day.
